The online gambling banned in france
In recent months gambling on the Internet are in the line of sight from the government. After much deliberation and several references between the senate and parliament, the bill against crime was finally adopted on 22 February.
This highly controversial (only the ump had voted for, and the PS and PCF voted against the UDF was absent), several amendments have been decried by key stakeholders and many members, governs the area of severely online games.

But the government has preferred to ignore these warning from the European Union to strengthen further against the monopoly of the two beneficiaries currently in place: La Francaise des Jeux and PMU. Francaise des jeux, which however, did not, however, gene to be present in other European countries and is perfectly normal to do what it refuses to others in its own territory.
Accordingly, the Act provides for a ban on advertising for online games, under penalty of severe sanctions, and establishes three main measures to prevent to play poker, make bets sports or playing online casino:

strengthening sanctions against the advertising of online gambling on the internet in any form whatsoever. The fine now stands at 30,000 euros and can be quadrupled in terms of advertising spending on the illegal operation.
Note however that this law does not directly instead of playing online.
We do not understand this position of France, which goes against the European Union and the demands of its citizens who are more likely to regularly play online. By the same token, if these measures are designed to protect problem gamblers or avoid other misbehavior on the part of dubious companies, we do not understand why in this case the government does not allow casinotiers French approval as Partouche and barrier, and companies legally established in England (most of which are listed on the London Stock Exchange, the recall), to open their own casino / poker room online. This would obviously give English players a game controlled, safe and effective.
We believe the provisions in the Act will have the opposite effect and require the French players to return to playrooms absolutely uncontrollable and that they have no recourse. In the same way, it will force these players to find alternatives more or less safe to touch their payments at the risk of losing all or part of this money if their choice is unsuccessful.
