The limits for casino
If you have already tried your luck at roulette, blackjack or craps at a casino online you have probably noticed that these casinos impose limits to the bets you could make. If this to the advantage of avoiding too much you lose a coup, it also has the big disadvantage to limit your freedom of action and build as you see fit.
And as we shall see, to earn a lot of money against the casino. For example, Europa Casino, with roulette you can not wager more than 200 euros on simple chances (red / black pair / odd happening / missing), with bets ranging from 0.10 to 10 euros and more 400 euro up from 4 to 20 euros. So why casinos put in place that limit? Simply because there are techniques, called martingales, which would reap the gains in a systematic way. Based on some simple mathematical formulas, they would be perfect without this measure.
Take the example of the classic Martingale. Its principle is simple: each loss you double your bet, then when you win you return to your initial bet. In case of 5 consecutive shots losers this would therefore put the following example: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 1. The following table shows the cumulative gains and losses in this series:

Thus only one winning recovered all its losses for repasser beneficiary. Mathematically this is infallible martingale since doubling your bets every loss you routinely back to what you lost from the first winning move. You can not lose.
Casinos have no choice but to impose limits for making this technique extremely dangerous. Indeed, after a certain number of consecutive losers beating you lose a huge amount of money that you could not bid. That is why we also strongly advise against using this technique. Martingale is not infallible, however some can still reduce the risk or even give you an edge opposite the casino such as the d'Alembert martingale.
