There are still a few months, the French government was engaging in a tug-of-war with Europe about its legislation on gambling and preparing to defend tooth and nail the French monopoly on the videogame and pmu. In short, no one knew very well what it was exactly.
We expected to see the situation s'envenirmer where, somewhat to everyone's surprise, France reversed its position and decided to order one and report to Bruno Durieux, Inspector General of Finance, to establish the position of games money in France at present and the conditions for a possible opening.
According to the latest assessment of the report which was submitted to the French government on April 14, it appears that lead is likely to open gambling. This would include not only sports bets but also the poker and casino games.
